The global perspective was a particularly important decision criterion for us in choosing ET GLOBAL, so that we can implement our trade fair appearances with the same partner worldwide. In this way, we can ensure coherent, high-quality brand experiences for our audience internationally.
MRS. BLUMER, WHERE IS NETSTAL HEADING IN TERMS OF INDUSTRIES AND NEW REGIONS/MARKETS? HOW WILL THIS AFFECT YOUR LIVE MARKETING?
We will continue to showcase our technology in large-scale exhibitions at the major trade fairs. In addition, there are a number of regional trade fairs held by our international subsidiaries each year, which we attend without bringing in full machines and therefore manage with less space. Together with ET GLOBAL, we have already been able to adapt our trade fair concept for these events.
MR. BIRCHLER, ARE OTHER FORMATS (BEYOND TRADE FAIRS) BECOMING MORE IMPORTANT FOR YOU? WHAT ABOUT ROADSHOWS, THOUGHT LEADERSHIP EVENTS, ETC.)
The focus is currently on traditional trade fairs. The coronavirus pandemic has shown in a major way how important in-person contact is. That is why we have abandoned purely digital formats for the time being. We are however open to other kinds of live formats and assess those in consultation with our internal stakeholders.
MRS BLUMER, HOW DOES THE ET GLOBAL TEAM ANSWER YOUR NEEDS IN THE AREA OF SUSTAINABILITY?
Trade fairs oft mean a battle of material for events that only last a few days. That's why we were so impressed by ET GLOBAL's sustainability concept. We are currently at 75% reuse. This includes our own components such as benches, wood panels and logos as well as the various rental materials that are used on a Netstal trade fair stand. For the remaining 25%, it is important to us that the highest amount possible can be recycled.
MR. BIRCHLER, HOW DOES ET GLOBAL SUPPORT YOUR VISION IN THE AREA OF DIGITAL ENHANCEMENT / INTEGRATION AND THE ASSOCIATED IMPACT? HOW DO YOUR BRAND EXPERIENCES FIT INTO YOUR DIGITAL STRATEGY?
At the moment, we are focusing on the essentials within the available budgets. In other words: Our customers and interested parties should feel particularly comfortable at the Netstal exhibition stand and - in the case of the large trade fairs - experience high-performance and particularly innovative machine exhibits. In the remaining areas, visitors will receive information about our comprehensive range of services. In the cosy catering area, we provide our guests with refreshments and hold relaxed discussions on new projects and on how to maximize production efficiency. In the future, we will certainly also be looking at how we can impress our audience with digital and interactive presentations. With ET GLOBAL, we know we have the right partner at our side for this.
